This new qualification is offered by the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) in conjunction with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) and would be of interest to clinicians wishing to obtain a formal qualification in Ultrasound.
A range of AIU courses (including our Learn On-Line Physics modules) have been approved by the ASUM as meeting the specifications / requirements of the CCPU in prerequisite, basic and / or advanced modules of the certificate.

The Procedural Skills Grant is offered by the Australian Government to assist rural & remote general practitioners in gaining new skills. Many AIU courses have been approved as eligible education activities for this grant.
