PROGRAM DESCRIPTION - NEW 5 DAY FORMAT starting March 2011

This five day program is designed to build on the skills acquired during the basic program and to address further clinical questions. Registrants will have even more opportunity to discuss their own cases and library cases from the AIU. In addition, there is further basic cardiac tuition & training in the RUSH protocol.

1. To consolidate knowledge and increase confidence in scanning skills
2. To provide further protocols in answering clinical questions including cardiac & RUSH
3. To provide tuition in DVT examinations
4. To provide an introduction to nerve block guidance techniques
