Obstetric ultrasound requires the operator to undertake meticulous investigations using a blend of practical skills, theoretical knowledge and pattern recognition along with attention to detail in ultrasonic protocols. Examining patients with fetal abnormalities requires wide base of skills & knowledge.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This 3 day program is designed to meet the needs of practioners who are experienced in the basic components of obstetric scanning and for the sonographer wishing to update knowledge and work practises. Registrants will have the opportunity to discuss their own cases and library cases from the AIU. Practical "hands-on" sessions with highly experienced obstetric sonographers will allow registrants to become familiar with the protocols described on normal volunteer patients.
SPECIFIC TOPICS INCLUDE
