SUE DAVIES DMU, AMS, Hon Fellow ASUM
Sue is the Program Director of the AIU and has many years experience in a wide range of ultrasound applications, along with extensive expertise as a tutor. She is also involved with both the ASUM and the ASA in various capacities and was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of ASUM in 2006.

MRS. SALLY ASHWIN B.BUS, B.NURS, RN
Sally is the Administrative Director of the AIU. She has extensive experience as a practical tutor in the field of nursing as well as experience in the business world.

MRS. KATHERINE ELLER Grad Dip Medical Ultrasound (QUT), AMS
Katherine is a Sonographer with 15 years experience in general, obstetrics, vascular, MSK & Cardiac ultrasound. She spent 5 years in Europe as an Applications Specialist and Product Specialist giving many lectures and facilitating seminars, indulging in her interest in education. Since her return to Australia, Katherine has joined the AIU on a permanent part time basis as a Tutor and continues clinical practice at GCMI.
MS. HEIDI CROXSON Grad Dip Medical Ultrasound (Uni Adelaide), AMS, Adv. Dip Bus. Mgt.
Heidi is an experienced sonographer having worked in the UK and Australia over the last ten years. She joins us from a sonography management/tutor position in Victoria and has relocated to the Gold Coast to work with us a full time sonographer educator. She is excited to be joining a dynamic team and pursuing her passion for education.

MS. JOANNE McBRIDE Grad Dip Medical Ultrasound (Monash), AMS
Joanne has an extensive background in medical imaging modalities, including ultrasound, predominately in busy private practices in Melbourne. For the past few years, Joanne has combined specializing in tertiary level obstetric ultrasound with an impressive teaching and tutoring background at Monash University. She joins us as a full time sonographer educator.

MS. ALLISON HOLLEY M.APPSC
(MEDICAL ULTRASOUND), ams

Allison has vast experience in general and paediatric sonography as well as being an accomplished teacher and author of a book on practical paediatric ultrasound. She holds a permanent part time position as Senior Tutor at the AIU and is in clinical practice in Brisbane.

Mrs Cathy Low, RDMS (USA), AMS
Cathy has a broad general ultrasound background developed over a number of years. She has extensive experience in both general, vascular and cardiac ultrasound and is a committed and enthusiastic tutor. Cathy has worked in many different countries around the world including Canada, NZ, Timor, Solomon Islands & Australia

Mrs Angela Moffat DMU,Grad Dip AppSc, AMS
Ang brings to us her ability as an excellent and experienced general and obstetric sonographer. Her ability as a teacher is readily apparent and she has a strong interest in education.

MRS CLAIRE ARROWSMITH DMU (UK), AMS
Claire is a general sonographer with extensive experience both in the UK and Australia, who has joined us on a permanent part-time basis. She is particularly interested in education and holds a position with GCMI on the Gold Coast as a Senior Tutor Sonographer. Claire's enthusiasm is infectious and she is a great teacher.

MS. LEANNE McKNOULTY Dip App Sci, DMU, AMS, Grad Dip Comm
Following her radiography training Leanne trained in medical ultrasound and has worked in clinical, business and academic roles across Australia, including teaching at Monash University. Her interests include ultrasound technology and vascular and abdominal ultrasound, as well as science communication and health training.
