Terms & Conditions - Programs

TUITION FEES

  • Closing date for all courses is 14 DAYS prior to course start date. Please note that full payment must accompany any registration lodged less than 30 days prior to the course start date unless other arrangements have been negotiated.
  • Tuition fees for most courses include course workbook, morning and afternoon teas & light lunches.
  • Tuition fees are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST

CONFIRMATION

  • Upon receipt of registration and full payment, a letter confirming a guaranteed place on the nominated program will be sent to you, along with your receipt and full administrative details.
  • If registration is not accompanied by full payment, a letter confirming a provisional place on the nominated program pending full payment, along with an invoice and full administrative details will be sent to you

DEADLINES

  • Early registration is advised since class enrollments are limited in size.
  • Registration is confirmed on a "first come, first served" basis of PAID Tuition Please call if late payments or special arrangements need to be made.
  • Registrations received LESS THAN 30 DAYS prior to a program start date are non - refundable and are limited to a one-time transfer for same program/same person
  • Tuition payments received LESS THAN 30 DAYS prior to a program start date are non-refundable are limited to a one-time transfer for same program/same person

TIMES

  • Registrants for all courses are required to arrive at the venue by 8.30am to register and receive course workbooks.
  • Typical course times are from 9.00am until 5.00pm each day.

CANCELLATION

  • A 95% registration refund will be given if cancellation is received in excess of 30 days prior to the scheduled program START date.
  • Cancellation after this time will result in a loss of the full tuition amount unless the attendee transfers to the next available (same) program (NB one transfer limit - which means that inability to attend the transferred program will result in the loss of the full tuition amount)
  • The Australian Institute of Ultrasound will not be responsible for any travel and/or accommodation reimbursements.
  • Once the program has commenced, no refund of tuition fees is possible under any circumstances.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACCREDIATION

  • Programs have been approved for Continuing Professional Development credits with the following organisations:
    • RANZCR, RANZCOG, RACGP, ACRRM, RANZCP, ASAR, ACEM, ANZCA, JFICM, CICM (please indicate required organisation on registration form)
    • Participants in the ASUM Mosipp program may record these programs as Category II credits (Typically 1.2 points per hour)
    • Participants in the ASA Professional Development Program (PD-asa) may record these programs under Activity Type 1.1 (Typically 1 point per hour - to a maximum of 15 points per program)
