Dr Tatiana Lowe
FACEM, Manly Hospital
Definitely the best ultrasound course I have done. Minimum lectures, maximum scanning time on real patients. 95% of our tutors were experienced sonographers, and their ability to describe what (very small!!!) adjustments you had to make to obtain good images was second to none. Being taught by doctors who are good at ultrasound is good, being taught by experienced ultrasonographers is awesome. They were extremely patient and endlessly encouraging.
Lunches were yummy and healthy.
Thanks for a great time, can't wait to do the next one.

MBBS, FACEM
I am an Emergency Physician working at a busy rural trauma base hospital. I previously routinely used USS for eFAST and periodically for vascular access. I highly recommend the 5 day Introduction to Emergency Medicine ultrasound course. Even though I have previously had one day training courses, I have not followed up with ongoing learning or consolidation of the finer aspects of what I had learned. I found that the five day course was very valuable in consolidating the technique and knowledge I was learning. I really appreciated the methodical and thorough teaching from the sonographers, as previous learning from fellow doctors did not go in to the finer techniques of sonography. I immediately used my new found skills when I returned to work and was confident to make management calls on my findings. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful at all times. They were happy to tailor the level of learning to each individuals experience. Thank you for a great course.

Retrieval Medicine Dubbo
'I would thoroughly recommend the Rural US course. I'm an Emergency Medicine Registrar working in retrieval medicine and the skills I have learnt will prove crucial in my future practice. Although familiar with using US for vascular access, my general organ assessment and interpretation skills were limited. A week of intensive teaching in small groups with multiple volunteers, access to a variety of US machines and a friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable staff has changed that. I plan to return for other courses in the future. Many thanks.'
