During the week November 19th - 23rd we require several children volunteers (aged from 2 - 14 years of age) for Pediatric ultrasound training purposes.
During these ultrasound scan demonstrations they will check things such as heart, vascular and muscular parts of the body.
How would doctors learn ultrasound skills without practicing on real people?
The AIU would not function without patient volunteers. Would you like to help out?
Volunteer models have a special role to play in the education of our future medical professionals. You can help future doctors reach high standards of care for our community by letting them practice their developing ultrasound skills in real time and with hand-on experience.
