Point of Care Ultrasound Refresher
This course has been specifically designed to address the needs of any practitioners who have previous practical ultrasound experience but feel the need for review. The aim is to improve your existing ultrasound skills and problem solving techniques.
NB: This course is suitable for those clinicians who have completed a basic course (even if it was years ago) and have had reasonable levels of ‘hands-on’ experience. It is NOT suitable for those with NO previous training. This course aims to improve your understanding and use of ultrasound to answer clinical questions and acquire better images.

Run over 3-days, this course will re-ignite your confidence in the clinical ultrasound world. Including 14 hours of “hands-on” practical tuition on volunteers with varying degrees of difficulty.
Our aim is to have you scanning and making sound clinical decisions by the end of the course using Point of Care ultrasound.
ACEM | This course accredited for 23.5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours as complying with ACEM standards and policies for AAA, E-FAST, BELS (including cardiac arrest), Vascular Access, Pregnancy (1st trimester), Lung, Pleural Effusion, Hepatobiliary, Renal Tract.
ACRRM | Approved for 30 PDP points; 30 points PRPD; 30 pts MOPS Radiology; 30 pts MOPS Emergency Medicine
Eligible for Rural Procedural Grants Funding – 3 days under all components (Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, Obstetrics and Surgery)
