Volunteer for a Pregnancy Ultrasound
Are you currently 8–13 weeks or 24+ weeks pregnant?
Join us for a supervised scanning session and help doctors learn how to safely perform pregnancy ultrasound. These appointments are free, friendly, and held at our Gold Coast centre.
- See your baby during the session — just for fun
- Support doctors in their hands-on training
- No cost and no referral needed
- Receive a complimentary bounty bag
Please note: These scans are for training purposes only — they are not medical check-ups and don’t replace your regular pregnancy care. You’ll still need to attend your usual appointments with your GP or obstetrician.
Lettie, Volunteer…It was quite a privilege to be able to help out. The AIU staff were all so friendly and appreciative, as were the doctors who scanned me. It was a really lovely experience and I got to see my beautiful bubba!
