Description
This three-day Sonographer training program is designed for Sonographers who are returning to the workplace after an absence, in order to refresh scanning skills and be up-to-date with current practices, techniques, and technology that are used in everyday scanning.
The topics are broadly based in Abdominal, Pelvic, small parts, Vascular, MSK and Pregnancy scanning protocols and techniques.
Physics and optimisation videos are sent prior to this course in preparation to maximise scanning time during the course. The tutor will discuss instrumentation, new techniques, approaches, and technology in the context of each topic.
The course has the latitude to include more specific subjects and more scanning time to suit Sonographer training needs as requested.

This course fulfils ASAR requirements as an Approved Course for the Return to Clinical Practice programme as a three-day course. It is expected the learner will complete the Return to Clinical Practice programme and clinical assessment in the workplace with their Supervisor.
